Morshinska. A Product of Nature

Morshinska is a natural mineral water originating in the preserved Prykarpattia region from the pure water springs surrounded by ancient forests.

The resort city of Morshyn (Lviv region, Ukraine) is situated on a hillside in the eastern part of the Prykarpattia region, 340 meters above sea level.

There have never been any large enterprises or gas stations in the Morshin Deposit area, so Morshinska natural mineral water has got protected from industrial impact.

Natural mineral water is a product of an underground natural ‘laboratory’, the conditions of which cannot be reproduced artificially.

Morshinska starts as snow and rain falling on the forests of the Prykarpattia region and forming the Morshin Deposit. Filtering through the upper layer of soil, protected by the pristine nature of the Prykarpattia, the water finds its way along the underground channels to the foothill of the Prykarpattia, where Morshinska’s Springs areas are located.

Circulating throughout the rocks, groundwater undergoes chemical, gas and electrical processing. And rising to the surface, water is subject to the natural gravitational, biological and energy exposure.

Thus, this water does not dissolve excessive salts from the deep layers of rocks but gets enriched with the sufficient amount of natural minerals. Due to this natural phenomenon, the Morshin Deposit is a source of a low-mineralized water, which can be consumed without restrictions daily.

Morshinska mineral water is bottled at the Oskar plant near the springs.

During the bottling process, the water undergoes no changes in chemical composition. Due to innovative technologies introduced at the production site, Morshinska water remains as it was created by nature, being subject to mechanical filtering only.

Morshinska natural mineral water production site has implemented and certified a food safety management system to ensure the consistent quality and safety of the water you drink.

Opened in 1995 and greatly renovated in 2007, Morshinska production site, Oskar plant, is one of the most powerful production complexes in Ukraine.

    The inhabitants of Morshyn discovered beneficial properties of local natural springs, but they sourced not water but salt then. At that time, no one guessed that Morshinska water had special chemical composition.

    Resort history begins. The landlord and owner of Morshyn, a merchant Boniface Stiller invited well-known physicians and chemists to organize the first resort based on local natural sources of mineral water and mined brine wells. Boniface Stiller developed Morshyn, focusing on European resorts - Carlsbad (Karlovy Vary), Baden-Baden etc.

    Another natural spring was discovered, which sourced a well-balanced water for daily consumption.

    The resort business in Morshyn developed rapidly: the site has got electricity, a water hospital, a mud hospital, an inhalation facility, a pump room for mineral waters, and the construction of the Marble Palace began.The popularity of the resort kept on rising in Soviet times.

    Until the end of the XX century, Morshin Deposit water resources were used only for the needs of the resort. However, research has shown that the Morshin Deposit is one of the largest in Ukraine. So, in 1995, a modern production was established in Morshyn as the Oskar plant started bottling Morshinska water.

    Morshinska Mineral Water Plant was renovated and became one of the biggest innovative enterprises with powerful production facilities.

    Morshinska received the "Superior Taste Award" in the open tasting competition of the International Taste & Quality Institute (ITQi). It became the first Ukrainian water to be awarded at such high level.
